How To Make Extra Cash
Whether you're behind on bills or you just want some extra
cash to do something fun or special, youre probably look for
ways to make extra cash from your home, or even online. And
there are many ways to make extra cash... you can do it from
your home, online, or even just around your local
neighborhood. How you make extra cash is completely up to you,
but here we'll give you several excellent ideas to get started
with.
- Paint Mailboxes or Curbs.
Depending on where you live, one
excellent way to make extra cash every day is to simply go
around your local neighborhood, and offer to paint the
mailboxes or curbs in front of the house. You'll be painting
the numbers on the box or curb for them, so that emergency
services can find their house much more quickly and easily
when emergencies arise. In some places it's even mandated to
have big, bold, clear numbers at both the front of the house
and behind it in the alley, or on the fence at the side.
All you have to do to earn extra cash this way is to get
yourself a set of number stencils, a small stencil paint
brush, some nice colored paints, and maybe a rag or cloth to
wipe up any drips. If you're using stencil paints though, you
don't have to worry about drips and drops of paint making a
mess.
If your area is very dedicated to a certain high school,
college or state sports team, you can even offer to paint the
house numbers in the school colors. And you might even be able
to add a little extra decoration to match the school logo or
mascot too.
Most people can paint three to four house numbers in an hour,
and they earn an extra cash with each one they do. So
that's thirty dollars an hour of extra cash for you. If you
need more than that, simply work a few more hours.
- Offer lawn services.
This is particularly easy when you
have a pick up truck. Just load your lawn mower, trimmer and
other yard tools into the back of your pick up truck, then
start driving down streets near your home. Whenever you come
across a house whose yard looks a bit shaggy, stop and ring
the doorbell. Offer to cut the grass and trim the weeds for
or , depending on the size of the yard.
Many cities and towns have local laws and ordinances which
require yards to be kept trimmed and neat, which is why you
can make plenty of extra cash by knocking on doors of houses
who yards haven't been kept up to city standards.
- Offer hauling services.
This is another excellent way to
make some extra cash when you have a pickup or SUV style
vehicle. Drive around your local neighborhood and look for
places that have old furniture, car parts, and other stuff
sitting around that needs to be hauled away. Offer to haul it
off for a small fee. Once your pickup truck is fully loaded,
you can either take your load to the dump, take it to a
recycling center and make a little more extra cash off some of
it, or take it home and figure out ways to sell some of the
better items for making even more extra cash.
